| If you have gardening utensils they should be locked away in a shed or other safe place. Your toddler should never be allowed to wander around outside unsupervised. Patio doors and windows at his height should have safety glass fitted. |
| If you have access to a swimming pool you will need to keep a special check on your child. Children have a tendency to lean into the water to reach for objects like balls, which have fallen in. Very quickly they can lose their balance and drown. One of the best things you can do for your child is to take him to swimming lessons where he can learn water safety. |
